I would like to downgrade my pledge level or receive a refund for the pledge I made on Kickstarter.
We’re sorry but we are unable to offer any refunds to Kickstarter backers. The funds have already cleared and have been spent paying our artist, editor, playtester, layout artist, and printers. Additionally, BackerKit does not offer refunds for purchased made in the Pre-Order store after cards have been charged.

Shipping is too expensive! I can't afford the shipping fees for my Kickstarter Pledge level.
If you are unable to pay for shipping fees at this time, firstly we sympathize. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and hopefully we can work out a shipping solution. Since the launch of this campaign the cost of shipping, especially in Canada, the UK, and the EU, has skyrocketed. Where we can we have reduced the costs of shipping, opting for untracked services over tracked services, and sourcing fulfillment partners around the world to help distribute the game.
After the store closes I (deldon) will hold any Kickstarter rewards that have outstanding shipping fees for one year’s time. If you missed the window to pay for shipping fees or were unable to pay when the store was open please send an email to [email protected] so we can work out a shipping solution. After one year’s time, any physical goods that are unclaimed will be sold off to recoup costs. PLEASE NOTE that the cost to send goods internationally after the store closes will certainly be higher, as I will be sending them directly myself, from the US.

How will my order be shipped?
In the US, we will be packaging and shipping all orders via USPS Media Mail.
We have two incredible fulfillment partners helping us with international shipments.
For orders going to Canada, Ratti Incantati will be handling fulfillment.
For all other destinations, Peregrine Coast Press will be handling fulfillment from the UK.
Please note that for all orders, we have opted for untracked shipping options in order to reduce the cost of shipping.

Will I be responsible for VAT/Customs/Tax?
If you are receiving your goods in the US, Canada, or the UK, your package will be mailed from within your country’s borders and no import taxes will apply.
If you are receiving your goods within Germany, France, The Republic of Ireland, Portugal, The Netherlands, Cyprus, Malta, or Austria, Peregrine Coast Press is handling DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) and you will be charged for the tax at the point of purchase so your goods can be delivered to you with no additional fees.
For any destination not listed here, you will be responsible for any and all tax, border fees, or import fees that your country imposes on goods being sent from the UK. We, unfortunately, are not large enough to handle any of these fees ourselves, so please look up the costs (if any) that you may be incurring to receive these goods.

Can I change my address?
Yes! Anytime after cards are charged and before your address is locked, you can change your delivery address. We won’t lock addresses until we are ready to ship goods, and we’ll give backers ample notice of when that will be.

Why was I charged for the cassette if the goal isn't met yet?
Your card information is on file with BackerKit, but no cards will be charged until the store closes. At that time, if the funding goal for the cassette isn’t met, any order containing the cassette and it’s associated shipping fees will have these costs removed from the total before the card is charged.

Can I buy just the pdf of the game? What about a digital copy of the soundtrack?
This pre-order store is only for physical orders of the game. The digital version will be available later in the year on itch.io.
If the funding goal is met, any orders for the Original Soundtrack Cassette will include a download code for the digital soundtrack. Otherwise you will be able to purchase the digital soundtrack separately on the itch.io page.

How will I recieve my digital goods?
When the store closes and cards are charged, you will be given a personal download page including all of the digital goods that you have ordered. Make sure you retain your login information if you wish to download these files again. For Kickstarter backers, you will also receive an itch.io key sent to the email associated with your Kickstarter account.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
